What kills me are the people who say, "I applied for MS deer but didn't get drawn..." ???

Then they vehemently defend their actions, "I applied for the tag not the points but I still didn't draw..."

I never got drawn until the tags exceeded the applicants two years ago.  Wife got it every other year until that point.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Crazy, what I meant are people who were saying that last year

When the applicants were definitely outnumbered by tags.

Your wife gets all your luck!

She sure does.  Makes it hard to like her for a week after the draw results come out :chuckle:  It wouldn't be so bad if she didn't laugh at me every time she draws...she's not a very nice winner  >:(

I had the same luck as your wife on MS deer, but I have never drawn a real special permit though. 11 years and counting and I put in for everything I can. Damn draw odds! ;)

Sore winners!

My wife's first fish she ever caught was a 5 lb bass while we were crappie fishing.

The first buck she saw while she was deer hunting was a 130"+ class whitetail and she said it was too far   :yike: and it was only 110 yards out  :bash: :bash:

Her first time crab fishing from the dock she limited out on a bunch 7" dungeness.

Beginners luck. Just typical. My little sister's first buck and bull. At age 10 and 11 respectively. I'm just happy it was me there for the deer hunt! ;)

My wife hasn't been a beginner in a long time.  But her first bear (second season hunting) was 450# :yike:  First deer with a bow was 55 yards!  I think she drew her quality bull tag with four points (10 or 12 less than me that year :bash:).  However, we have both sucked the hind teat when it comes to Multi-Season Elk tags.  Maybe this year will be the first time I get the one up on her  :dunno:  In another week we will find out!  Though I can't help but think she will be laughing at me again this year >:(

Tell your little sister congrats. I adjusted her whitetail pic a little for you.

Thank you! That looks great. Will do!

Kahlen's now 12 and has three elk and five deer under her belt already. I killed my first elk at age 12, so I would say that she is doing the family name proud. She loves to hunt! :)

I called this yearling in for her to 15 yards in Margret this year. Came in from 100 yards out on a run and I was right over her shoulder. She drew the regular rifle cow tag with 3 points. Did I mention she has her mothers luck!? That's four special permits in 3 years. :)

Six years!  That would suck.  Good luck to him.

I'm sitting on six and have never drawn.  I'm not very confident that I will draw this year either. :bash:

Man I'm going to feel super bad when I draw with my first ever permit of any kind application.. I'm feelin crazy lucky! I've helped a lot of old people this month.. Ha! No offense to the old people.. :-)
Seriously though, have any of you drawn with zero points? Well Bobcat said I actually get one point for this year so I guess I have one point technically...

I drew the very first year they offered it, with one point. Of course everyone who out in for it that year had one point also.

I know a lady that drew a quality bull muzzy tag the first year she applied.  And that was only a few years ago.  So anything can happen if you're one of those lucky types  :P

I was REALLY positive the for the first ten years.  And I helped poor, disabled, old people :chuckle:  No offense to the monetarily deprived, wheel chair assisted, vision and/or hearing impaired, youth challenged adults.
