Washington Blacktail - 2013

Got him 10/28/13. Finally got one to add to the family trophy books! The last pic is my uncle and me. He killed that 25yrs ago on the same hill. I was 9 and along for that ride. Family tradition is what its all about...and a little luck ;)

Sorry Chipmunk, I had to ask :). There is a huge diff. between the coastal and cascadt BT's. That pic does it for me, that is one hell of a cascade BT. You're the man :tup:

I got about 85 lbs of meat from him. From what I've read you harvest about 40% of a deers actual weight. So around 210+ lbs???

Where did you conk that buck?  I see what appears to be a developed hiking trail in the background of that top image.

Also: Rifle, Model, ammunition, bullet weight, distance of shot.... details, details, details!!! Oh, and where's your hunter orange? Always a good idea to have that in the image.

I sure hope you sent a photo over to Northwest Sportsman magazine.
