mouth watering pork
« on: February 27, 2014, 04:34:59 PM »
Cooked up a pork tenderloin from one of my own hogs yesterday.  One of the best meats I've ever eaten...and I'm a major carnivore.

I marinated it overnight, the tossed on a cast iron skillet with some bacon grease to fry in.  Seared the edges very well. Then let it cook slowly until no more pink in the middle.

just about melted in my mouth!   Is it bad that I was stingy in sharing with my kids?  They didn't appreciate the work of art for what it was...  :chuckle:
