I have a gemtech outback II that I use on my 22/45 that I shoot every week.my gun sounds about like a air powered nail gun. I really like my can but I haven't shot through enough different brands to give a opinion. One thing that I'm know about all the 22rf cans is that the carbon build up in there fast. I have a sonic cleaner that the baffles go in every other week, around 100-150 rounds. Much longer and it's hard to get the baffles out.btw the back pressure sure causes a gun to dirty up fast.

I have to use a ink pen and hammer to drive out the baffles if I go too long between cleanings.

. I sent in the paperwork for my Spectre II on May 25 2013 and still don't have it back. The first can I got it took right at 7 months.

Depends on whether you get a $200 money order to send in with your application or include the $200 with the purchase price of the can.  Some places will sit on your money until they get a bunch of apps to send in, increasing your wait time.  Current wait time under the best conditions is 6 to 8 months.  :twocents:

This is what I have been seeing from guys with the baffle system.  I may just go with the Silencerco Sparrow for the .22.  Seems the easiest to pull apart, line up and clean.

Exactly! Get the money order yourself or go to a place that sends your funds out right away. Some places drag their feet on it.

Check out the new Guardian Suppressors.
Cheaper than the big name guys. Great looking can.

there was a company in England that made suppressors for shotguns.  Probably too much of a hassle to import them...

I always thought a pellet gun would work good for bird eradication in Parks and Golf Courses.  With a laser sight for night shooting when nobody was around... And no, I've never done it!  :chuckle:

There was a product for shot guns it was a ported 2.5ft extended choke tube designed to be used with lower velocity shells. not a silencer but to help keep peace with the neighbors while early duck hunting.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
