Hi,

My name is Maria and i am probably one of the few female hunters out here  :bdid:. I moved to Washington just 1.5 years ago from Russia. I just received my hunting license and bought a Compond Bow  :IBCOOL:.

Now i have been trying to find some deer hunting spots for weeks now and can use your help fellow hunters. I live on the eastsite (Lynwood) but willing to travel either north (Skagit county, areas 410, Sauk-437, or South area 3682 (364 Rimrock) or Low Crab Creek by Royal City.

I know how sensitive spots can be so if you do not want all people on the forum see it, please email me privately and i will be an ethical person and keep it private.

Anyway will appreciate any help and any spots on the eastside.

I would like to hunt by myself to get my first deer. Anyway did not get many responces unfortunately and will try paying for land permit on Camano or Whidbey Island and go from there.

Camano and whidbey might be a real tough place to start due to all the privateland and all the tree huggers.  I lived on Camano for almost ten years and they love their deer.  Best of Luck

Maria,

I'm sorry I han't help you this year. I and my new wife live in Sweden where we operate a fly fishing lodge and came back to fill our tags on the early hunt. But if you get hooked email me at randysheaff@sverige.nu and we'll be glad to take you to eastern WA next year on the early hunt on private property where you can enjoy taking a deer on a fair chase hunt!

How long have you been shooting your bow?  Have you hunted before?  Have you taken hunters ed?
