New walleye record?
« on: March 01, 2014, 06:33:04 PM »
Got this text.  Know nothing, figured I'd ask here.  Text says 20.26 pounds

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
-Ronald Reagan

In what class?  20.32# doesn't even make WA's top weight.  Maybe length :dunno:  It's a dandy though, for sure.

I believe 19.6 is the current state record. This would break it. Sweet fish! Congrats to the man!

WA state record is 19.33# caught by a good friend of ours.
To my knowledge this is the first 20# west of the Rockies

OK, guess my memory isn't so good.  Maybe the one I was thinking of was booted because of salt water or disqualified in some way. :dunno:  Either way, I apologies for that.  Didn't mean to take away from such an awesome fish.
