:bumpin:  please keep the messages going, we need to generate more messages of support...

I would like to ask all hunters to take one minute and send a short friendly message to the Washington Wildlife Commission now. You should also ask friends, family members, and members of any sporting groups you belong to do the same.

Here is a sample message, add an additional point or two if desired, but keep it short and friendly:

Send To.... commission@dfw.wa.gov
Subject..... I Support Coyote Hunting Contests

Dear WDFW Commissioners,
I would like to express my strong support for coyote hunting contests. These contests provide a great deal of recreation for hunters across the state and much needed management of Washington's undermanaged coyote population.

Thank you for your consideration,

Got the same...
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

One of my sources of irritation with WDFW is this.......and maybe someone can shed some light on it...

If I look at the email they sent in reply, it is two parts.

The first part is

Quote
Opinions and comments such as yours provide the Commission with valuable insight into fish and wildlife issues of concern to communities throughout our state. The Commission relies on public testimony, email, and correspondence to help determine what is working well and what requires more concentrated efforts.

The second part is

Quote
Thank you for your interest in the conservation and management of the state's precious fish and wildlife resources.

So my question is which one is it?  Is it opinion/comments that drive decisions or is it conservation and management?  It drive me crazy that the "professionals" use feelings from the under educated to trump sound science.  :twocents:

Seems the answer is in their email.  Thanks for being interested in conservation and management which is set by the opinions and comments of people who have a clear agenda that we choose to listen to over what we know to be true.  :bash:

basically since i got the same as well I have to say it is a blanket response for both sides of the debate,Looks like they dont read much at all and just reply with this.If your against it this works thanks for your concern. If your for it thanks for your concern.2nd part same.If your against coyote derby Thanks for management and conservation,If your for coyote derby thanks for management and conservation.Kinda upset now!  :twocents:
