just a tip
« on: November 19, 2008, 09:44:38 AM »
So i have seen this in the past and jus thought i would clarify something and let everyoe else give there thought on it also.

When someone comes on and starts asking for advice and for help we all want to go out of our ways and point that person in the right direction.

heres my advie to EVERYONE..........DONT GIVE THE SECRET SPOTS UP TO EVERYONE IN REGULAR POST REPLYS.
If your a nice guy and want to give away a few honey holes, remember that most likely the person your telling is going to invite 6 people, and so on, and so on. Also realize that its a place you hunt, and do you really want to bump into another person out there....and then most important.

if you tell someone where to hunt exactly on regular post, everyone who comes onto the internet will now know where to hunt your secret spot, or someone elses spot.....

LETS KEEP THE DETAILS IN PM.......

if you dont know how to use the pm function you can pm me, or pm a moderator, i am sure jackelope, ray, or any f the others can show you........

That reminds me of when I was a kid and my dad said he'd wade across the river take his waders off and bring em back over so I could wade across.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

anyone who gives out turn by turn directions to there 'secret' (highly unlikely its a secret anyway) drainage deserves to have 1000 people show up there on opening day. it ain't my spot so who cares? and if it is my spot by some one in a million chance well then i'll hunt them down and break their leg.  :hello:

Is it against site rules to post names of places?

Just curious as I'm new here and I've seen posts disappear, and all of Baseballstuds threads locked.
