The best possible thing you could do is call them and get a past client list and start calling.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

There are alot of good outfitters up there. What kind of hunt are you looking for?
I have a outfitter who is a friend up there but he hunts out of his main lodge so sometimes there is alot of driving to places.. The food is excellent however..  His successrate is grreat. The three times I have been there our group went alomost 100% only because some guys passed up animals.. He charges less then most.. If you are looking for that kind of hunt let me know. If you are looking for more backcountry I have no info.
If its brown knock it down

What is the average price to hunt Moose in BC? One of the perks of living close to the border is being able to drive and not have to fly all of your gear, so that has to be a savings compared to Alaska.

Then again you can hunt Yukon moose in AK.  If I understand BC correct most of those hunts in driving distance are Sharias moose.

Yes but even a Shiras Moose is going to be a good hunt and a guy would be able to bring all of it home as compared to having to send it as freight on a plane from AK.

Indeed. A cow sharias moose would be a far more impressive harvest than all the moose I have ever killed....

moose in BC are considered Canadain moose by Boone and Crocket and only the southern part of BC is considered Shiras moose by SCI usally the farther north you go the larger the racks are but all moose have a large body

 :yeah:
I believe once you get past 100 Mile house/ Williams lake area the classification changes.
I hunted outside of Prince George and they said they were Canadian moose.

Unless your heart is set on BC you might try http://www.wildkakwaoutfit.com/moose_98.htm I know a few guys on here have used them and have all had great hunts and good things to say.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I've hunted northern BC multiple times for everything from grizzly to caribou and moose. Most of BC is Canadian moose as defined by B&C. By the time you travel, licenses, tags, fees, tips and Canadian sales taxes, a northern BC moose hunt with a quality outfitter that has a quality concession, you will drop $10,000.
