LE Deer and Elk for me.  I had a friend tell me last year to start buying general deer points...something about the way they restructured the general deer units/hunts he thought in future years there could be some better than average units that would take some general points to draw...any truth to this or did I just donate another $10??

Here are some very good general units.   Your not going to get a world record in those units in my opinion.  But there are some good deer and elk.

Put in for points for both deer and elk.  I have 5 for each now, have to build up a lot more points before I start applying for any tags.

 :yeah:

I have the same exact thoughts on the general hunts. I have 11 points for general deer, I could choose any unit I want but added another point for GD, waiting for some of those units trophy quality to build.

I am in for LE elk, moose and desert sheep with 13 points for each, LE Deer I think 5 or 6 points.  I could get the elk as I put in for archery, everything else I am expecting unsuccessful on the results.

Still on the 5 year wait for elk, points for antelope, put in for Henerys managment deer tag, and a desert sheep tag.
