2014 Shed Compilation, pic added 3-21
« on: March 11, 2014, 08:12:02 PM »
These are some of the Blacktail we have found so far, haven't been out much this year compared to the last couple years, but we've had a few good days.

When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

He's almost 6 months old, he's doing very well with training so far.  This time next year ill expect big things from him if he keeps it up.  I hope

Garmin on his second trip out, this time with momma.  Not much of a shed but still a shed, and he loved chewing it up.

Nice healthy, brown antler finds & pups! I used to have some good spots in that neck of the woods but have not been back there in about 10 years.

Thanks guys for the compliment!  So how the name Garmin came about, I was trying to figure out a name for him and wanted something different I've never heard before.  After a week or so I was sitting there and looked at my gps charging and it just clicked, thought it'd be a cool name and never heard a dog by that name before.  Thanks again.

He's still learning, he hasn't found me one yet where he has been away and came back with a shed, but I have him find every shed on his own that i spot. Been a couple times east for deer where I spotted them a ways out and he does excellent hunting them up, and now he's starting to venture out alone so I don't think it'll be long before he's finding bone on his own.  I need to get him back over on deer some more now that he's hunting them up.  I have some good videos I wish I could post but won't work.  Thanks guys!
