CP - I think they are still rutting. I took a forked horn at the coast last weekend (late modern). He was hanging with the ladies and had shredded tree bark all over the bases of his antlers. I am pretty sure I would have never spotted him if he hadn't been being wreckless because of the rut.

On a side note. I tried rattling over the weekend as well, but had no luck.

Who's holding out for 578?  Hoping to fill my multi-season tag at some point.

almost got to use my multi season tag today. Saw two three points together at 205 yards and tried to get closer but they heard me or something. One of the bucks was rubbing his horns on a little tree. Do they still rub after the rut.
