That's cool. I'm excited for you. Keep us posted on the hunt. I had a Alaska moose hunt planned but that fell through so now I'm planning on hunting some Wyoming muleys this year with my good buddy's that live down there. Do you know what area you will be hunting in? (You can pm me if you don't want to post) I'm pretty stoked because I don't have to do anything but show up and shoot straight.  My childhood friends have relocated to Wyoming for the last four years and have done well for themselves every archery season. I too want a muley and a speed goat.

I have seen the triple 3 guides at the locker a couple times bringing game in while waiting to get ours checked in. you will have a great time! Buffalo is a great town/area and place to hunt.

The first year we hunted Buffalo was with a guide, now we stay at the Wyo motel and pay a small fee at a few ranches we have found. The deer on the right in my Avatar is a Buffalo buck. The amount of deer and antelope that you will see is amazing.

Should be a good hunt for antelope. I know there are a ton of the critters on that side of the state. There are also a lot of good deer in that area, mostly on private land. Good luck and have fun!
Wishing I was fishing...or in Wyoming

Cool! The 7mm-08 will be a fine cartridge for your hunt. My wife and I have each taken some big bodied mule deer with the 7mm-08 all three were bang-flops. Only deer that ran a few yards was a doe she killed last year with it. Good luck with finding a good rifle, you already picked a winner cartridge.
