Morgan pointing labs
« on: March 16, 2014, 04:17:03 PM »
My wife and I put a deposit down on a pup. Bitch due to be bred fairly soon with pups born on June or so. Had a couple Vizslas before and loved them but think we need a calmer overall temperament. Excited to have another member of the family. Been dog less since October of 2010.

What breeding are you looking at? They have some great dogs in their kennel. Did you go visit or just talk to Jim on the phone? Should be a little calmer than your vizslas, you will really enjoy them around the house. Good luck.

My wife talked to Jim on phone. Hoping to get pup from Libby and Cowboy. Thinking I prefer a male pup due to larger size. Would plan to neuter it.

Morgans are great i talked to them for over a year till i moved out of my apartment and could get a dog. Very happy with mine. Our pup is an inside dog and he does great inside. We give him plenty of exercise every day and he naps alot and lounges around till we go outside then he's a ball of energy and goes like a machine in the field or playing fetch. Annie was the mom and the dad belongs to Birdguy

Did you ever get your pup? What do you think?

We did get our male pup a couple weeks ago. I work out of state every 2 weeks out of 3 so my wife has been working with him. She is happy with him so far. Looking forward to getting home on Thursday and seeing both the wife and pup.
