Thats what I'm hoping with the warm weather.

I figure Sunday to be a trial run. Fish some gear, change a few things out, if we hook up we hook up. If not, no worries.

Do you know if Gregs carries any trout sized rigger releases? My salmon ones are a bit on the heavy side.

There is an article in this months issue of Northwest Sportsman that talks all about Kokanee, including Lk Stevens...it's coupled with the Lake Chelan article. Tells the "secrets" of two of the guides on Lk Stevens and how they fish for them.

Read it....pretty good article. John w/ Rotten Chum used to be my neighbor. He guides trips on LS and has a sweet pontoon boat set. Good guy and fun to fish with.

If you are new to the LS deal, hire John for a trip.  He's a friend of mine and a good guy.  He'll get you on fish and you'll know what to do when you go out again in the future.

I didn't mean to make it appear I was referring to you or implying that you were new (which I did, sorry!).  I was agreeing that John is a good guy and indicating that people would have fun and learn by hiring him.

Well so much for fishing this weekend  :bash:

Pulled the fuel pump off the kicker and opened it up to find loose parts had torn up the diaphram and I have no diagram to tell me where the loose parts go and how to do it.  :bash:  :bash:  Anyone here know Evinrude fuel pumps?

Unless a miracle happens and I can find a new fuel pump locally we are out of comission for now.

Follow the instructions on this link and you can look up your motor by year and serial # then you can look on the parts list for fuel pump ect. and it will show you the exploded part diagram. That allow you put the parts back in assembly order. Hit me again if you need help with the link.

Thanks. The problem is that it doesnt show the inside of the fuel pump assembly where the loose parts came from. I am going to have one of the mechanics at work look at it before I order a new pump.
