Which bow for adjustability? !See 1st post for revised questions Please!

I need to get a gal setup with a compound... I have seen some of the reports about the little bowtechs and diamonds that can go from like 5-50# and any drawlength... She can probably pull 35# right now... but is strong and will be able to easily pull 45 once she starts working those muscles shooting... probs 26" draw or a hair less...

What are some ideas? Im all for a used bow too, if any of ya got one you are looking to get rid of. She'll be deer, elk and antelope hunting with it...

So... grown woman that is very fit and fairly strong... bottom line I need to take her and have her draw a bow or two... but I am assuming she'll finish out about 45-50# once she strengthens her bow muscles... Would it be beneficial to search for a used bow of higher quality, that has a solid back wall... but is less adjustable... dont most bows/cam sets come in about 10# increments? .... If you have a good solid anchor pt and good form, the back wall isn't near as crucial... especially if you aren't shooting long range, which she wouldn't be. Blah blah blah... so many questions!! hehehe

Lastly, I shot the Hoyt Ignition and the Diamond Infinite Edge last night.... the Diamond was easily as nice as the Ignition... I was VERY impressed with it... It was not as spongy at full draw as the Hoyt... and lastly lastly I also shot the new carbon spider.... Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam.

My wife shoots a Mission Menace. 27"@40#. It adjusts like crazy. They Mission Craze is their new one getting good reviews. I think the Diamond Infinite Edge is another one.

After thinking about it a little, I dont want to limit it to just the uberly adjustable bows... I know a lot of bows are fairly adjustable nowadays... I am pretty sure a "good bow" in 40-50# would work fine.....

Look at the Mission bows..........nothing out there compares for adjustability.

Bear Apprentice II is adjustable from 15-60 lbs and 15-27" draw. The kid who shoots with me uses one and it's a great bow. I'm convinced he'll shoot his first big game with it.

Here's my main question... pick up something like the Diamond, setup, for $380.... or spend $400 on a 4 year old top of the line Hoyt or Bowtech or Mathews??? But one that is limited to a 10# range most likely....

Might also add that the Mission is made by Mathews.  Mathews makes great top of the line bows that I have shot for the last 10 years.  I have all the faith in the world if it is made by Mathews it will be quality.

We've been giving one of these away for the last couple years.  5-70 pounds, 13-30 inch draw.  awesome bows for the money (even at retail) and a good one to start out with.  Get her shooting, make sure she wants to stick with it, and if you want to upgrade, Infinite Edges hold their value very well.

Look at the diamond core too. Or the bowtech carbon rose or heart breaker. Quest has a bow out thats very adjustable. Elite spirit is a nice one too

Mathews passion or jewel just bought my daughter a jewel very smooth she had a diamond razors edge set for 30lbs and was a little tuff drew back a passion set for 40 no problem

Bought my gf a diamond infinite edge last summer and in seriously looking at buying another one for a backup bow for the both of us.

I shot infinite edge last night... I shot it at 35, 45 and 55 pounds... simply, I was amazed at how quiet and shock free it was... pretty amazing. I also shot the Hoyt Ignition... similar bow... nice...quiet... shock free... back wall was spongier than the Infinite.... but both are way spongey... better have a good consistent anchor point...

I like a solid back wall. My wife likes the diamomd infinite tell I had her shoot the core. If your not sure have her shoot if you can that will be the deal breaker she may like a different feel in the grip cam cycle and wall/valley

I think bottom line... I need to get her something to start shooting! There's no rule that says we cant buy something else and sell what we get. I get all crazy about worrying about getting the best thing...

My buddy brought his wifes bow in today so I could take a look at it. Its a 2007 Hoyt Trykon... The wall is still a little spongy, but not as bad as these uber adjustable bows... But the bow itself feels a LOT nicer, higher quality than these. I can get one loaded to the hilt with good accessories for $250-$300... but its got 10# of adjustment... and a couple inches. I am sure she can draw back 40#...

Gotta have her shoot a couple!!!

I say PSE... they are versitile... and have wide ranges of adjustability! and they have full size bows and smaller bows...
