Muzzleloader late general elk season

I'm new to hunting the late muzzleloader general elk season. I have scouted the Stella unit #504 some, but it didn't look too promising. I have also spent some time looking at the Wind River unit #574. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I have been scouting up around Trout Lake.... Weather has not been cooperating and have not seen a single Elk. Found a few areas with heavy traffic I plan to try opening day.

i will give you hint west of trout lake q.butte its good with no snow but great with snow

Isn't Q Butte EAST of Trout lake?? Just wondering I am new to the area, so i really have no Idea. That is if your referring to Quigley Butte.
