Does anyone own one? I have wanted one for a very long time and need to replace my 44mag anyway since i don't have one anymore.

I don't own one, but personally I'd get another .44.  But that's just me.

I was unimpressed with the one I shot, accuracy wasn't as good as the revolvers I have shot in the past. It felt good in the hand though and recoil was surprisingly light. Big chunk o' metal, if it runs out of bullets you could always beat someone (or thing) to death with it.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

I do plan on getting one in .44mag :)

You're right they are huge but i have long fingers so they don't feel bad to me. I have been looking at the automag and wildey but they are out of my price range and parts are few and far between.Besides i don't want to have to reload if i can avoid it.

The one I shot may have had something wrong with it etc, idk but the accuracy left a bit to be desired. It went against everything I know of them so I suspect it was an anomaly. If you get one I would be happy to shoot it for ya to compare the difference!  :chuckle:

Id stay away if you plan to reload for it. There too finiky with reloads. But work fine with prod ammo.

I can tell ya this. They will take a leg off. A guy I know was fiddling with his and shot his leg almost off just below the knee. The the *censored* tried to sue IA.  :bash:

Ive shot them in .50 and .44mag, the 44 one jammed a lot, the 50 worked flawlessly, but I don't know what anyone would do with it, other than open carry it to impress people, haha.

I bought a 50cal years ago and then found a 10" 44 barrel for it.But I can't tell you anything about the way it shoots. I might have shot a box of shells thru the 50 barrel and a couple of shells thru the 44 barrel. At the time I didn't have a mag for the 44. I bought one but never took it out of the package. I was thinking about selling it but haven't made up my mind yet.

I have the .44 mag Desert Eagle and it works great.  A fun gun to shoot.  If you have small hands, it's not the gun for you.  Mine is very accurate.  Only draw back is the ejector mars up the head on the brass once fired.  It sucks if you want to reload it.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I've had two 44s.  Still have one.  A very fun range toy.  Mine both functioned flawlessly when clean.

The desert eagle an anaconda 44 make for a fun range session.

I've had no problems with reloading for them.
