yakima county turkeys
« on: March 28, 2014, 03:26:10 PM »
Is their birds in yakima county or kittitas county? I havent been out of my house (besides work) all winter and need areas to go to besides the frozen section of the grocery store. Any honey holes would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sure there is. I killed one in Kittitas County last year. First turkey ever. I'd guess there are several thousand. Shouldn't be hard to find especially since you live over there.

Lots of birds in the 2 counties mentioned above! We started hunting turkeys in Central Wa religiously in 2011 and have taken 6 birds in our party. With plenty of other chances we just got busted on those. Here's a nice Tom I took in 2011

I killed this one 2 years ago. Had a good idea where some birds were, and being I made it my goal for that year to get my 1st Yakima county bird I couldn't pass this Jake up when he came bombing in. Missed a big tom last year in the same spot.

Sure.  Let's make a deal.  I will tell you where the turkeys are, you tell me where the elk are.

You're first.

Keep all Yakima county birds secrets. Don't let anyone know. Sssssssshhhhhhhh don't need anyone in my spots. Elk are in bumping, rim rock , manashtash, cowiche. There tell me where the the turks are.

Ok here you go

Hey, you there!  That isn't funny.  Not only do I know the fences, I know the neighbors there, too.  Don't y'all try to get smart on me. ;)
