6.8 Bison subsonic 1/7 barrel, built on an 80 percent CNC lower and aero upper, custom anodized by yours truly.Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk.556 Chrome lined Stoner barrel on an 80% Tactical Machining lower FDE.
Pretty easy really, you just have to get the chemicals (i.e. Sulfuric acid, cleaner, sealer and dye), a way to control temperatures (i.e. fish tank heaters or kitchen roasters) and a variable DC power supply (i.e. oriley's battery charger or high end DC power supply).I started doing it on motorcycle stuff, then I got into 80 percent AR's and 10/22's. It's a lot of fun.
I like that first picture Rori.............nice looking gun.
Is there a conversion kit to make the 5.56 NATO a bigger cal say like 308?

There is some nice rounds that will work in the ar-15 platform but to get to the rounds like 6.5 cred 308 7mm-08 etc. You have to go up to the ar-10 platform.
Heres a couple of mine, The upper one is a parts gun, mostly BCM and the other is JP.
