Some damn fine weapons on this thread!  Here's my first build.  .223 Wylde BCM guts Mega upper/lower.

Great choice. Mega upper and lower. I have an AR-10 with a Mega Maten upper and lower. Made in Tumwater Washington USA. High quality stuff. I was on a Texas gun forum earlier today and a guy there had a Mega upper and lower in there AR thread. If the boys in Texas likes them......well what can you say?

The irony of it all was I ordered it from a company back east, not knowing they were made locally. I picked it up and chuckled when I read the made in Tumwater. Great fit and finish for sure.

Here is my entire AR family, minus the newest one which is a dedicated AR-22lr made from an 80% polymere lower with a polymere upper. From top to bottom;

Spikes Tactical AR-15 pistol with a 7" barrel
SGW or Olymipc Arms AR-.45acp with a PNW lower using 30 round grease gun mags. I have since changed the upper receiver to a flat top
White Stag standard AR-15 carbine
Mega Maten AR-10 carbine
An original Colt SP1 AR-15, it was the very first AR offered to the public by Colt
Second picture, Ploymere 80% dedicated AR-22lr

Think I will bring this back up and add to the mix.

My first build, except for the Anderson receiver & the magazines, I assembled this from 100% ebay purchases.  Probably could have done better on some if I chased parts locally, but just wanted to see if I could...

Caliber is .223 Wylde, barrel is 1:8 spin, 16" SS.

Optics: Nikon P-223 and a laser dot since my eyes are not good enough for open sights.

I just received and added the scope mount this afternoon, which finished it off. Other than five test rounds for function, no idea when I will be able to see what it will do, but thought I would go ahead and share.

Nice!

I recently installed a very similar handguard from Ebay, much like yours but with the quad rails milled off the sides and top. For the money, I was pleasantly surprised, a little heavy but should be very durable.

Got rid of the Eotech and scoped mine. She's a tack driver and not even a little picky on ammo.

Mega Arms....nice. I have a Mega Maten upper and lower for my AR-10. You deserve a thanx for supporting a Washington based business.
Blacktail, If you got everything off of e-bay. What was the end cost over all? Nothing against you but if you got all that off of e-bay, it makes me a little upset. Because I can not list ANYTHING that says AR or they pull the auction. Or because I try to post things a second time. I got a thirty day ban from posting anything. It makes me upset because what they call a business partner like Brownells, or Midway USA, or even Amozon can post that stuff but you and I can not. That, in my opinion is BS. They tried to tell me it was for safety. Again I call BS. yeah I got a thirty day ban for trying to list things like a stock, buffer tube assembly, Magpul sights. All because I put the key word in the title of AR-15. But Brownells can list with the same buzz word. That really makes me mad. But good for you for getting what you needed for the build. Nice work.

I honestly did not keep track, ddn't really care that much. Tried to go for decent looking prices with free shipping.

Most costly single item was the SS .223 Wylde barrel, just over $100.00 to the mailbox.

Great build

Your barrel was $100 to the door? Who's the maker?

Yes, $104 & change. No name brand on it or that was supplied by the seller.

Here's our little M&P family.

I am waiting on a couple of Form 4's for 2 .300BO SBR Johnny Rifle Noveske's from Rainier Arms. Few more months to go still....
