PLRF 15c
I like my Leica 1600 but for what you're wanting go with the G7 or veltronix. The only downside is you jump from $800(Leica)to $1600 for the G7 and I think the veltronix is even worse. Are they still made in Switzerland?
The vectronix is about the only unit do what you are looking for. The others will work under perfect conditions, but either the Terrapin or PLRF10 will range in most anything. The only thing mine won't get through is thick fog. Snow, rain, bright sunshine has not been a problem.
Well, I ordered the Terrapin today. They are being discontinued, so once they're out of stock they're gone! I got 2 email responses from different companies telling me that if I find one in stock anywhere to just buy it!Sooooooo, anybody want to buy a gun to fund my range finder purchase?
Leica Vector.. If you can see it, you can range it. I've ranged things at 15,000+ yards. Military technology, very hard to find.

I'd have to sell my truck to buy that one. Quote from: whacker1 on April 16, 2014, 07:41:36 PMQuote from: yorketransport on April 13, 2014, 11:36:53 AMWell, I ordered the Terrapin today. I have 4 bolt action pistols and the 300 RUM just doesn't really fill a need. I have the 338/375 Ruger for hunting any critter at pretty much any range, 284 for long range shooting or hunting medium sized game, and the 6mm BR for mid range target work. Who would have guessed that a pistol in 300 RUM wouldn't be the most practical gun in the safe?
