Tough to beat Grundens, spendy but very durable.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

I used the core4element torrent jacket and pants same with my buddy, we both got soaked in a light and heavy down poor. gonna use some water proof spray on em an see if that helps.

If you go rivers west route I'd recommend the lightest possible.

I ran there early season gear into November and was always warm enough.

For now until I figure out what I want, I picked up a Columbia Glennaker rain coat, Its light and well see how it works. Should be here in a few days.

I have the kryptek and cant say that I would reccomend it... it leaks in the knees amd elbows. The price is lower than other bramds of camo raingear but you get what you pay for. Other than that cant add anything else.  :hello:

Best rain gear you can get is to move away from the west side to the east side. Put the money towards sun glasses instead of rain gear.  :chuckle:

Rokslide has a forum on rain gear, it's really informative.  I'm getting my first light coat very soon, heard its very good stuff.
