As far as dates go. you can be 99.9% certain they will not change after this week's meeting.

These have been out for months.

Pianoman ... dont get defensive... I just gave a reason why we might want to get the info early.   I was in no way suggesting that WDFW should cater to my needs, hell they dont do much other than count money anyway.

Why do we like to know early?  Because some have jobs that in order to get time off, we need to put in requests as early as February.  The later it gets in the year, the less likely you are to get approved for time off.

 ;)

Yes indeed we pick all of our days in November for the up coming year so it is great when seasons stay the same and don't change much

I'm not defensive. The information's there if you need it in February.  :dunno:

The general dates may not change however, there are changes that coul effect what seasons a guy could take off depending on what type of weapon he wanted to hunt with and the number of special permits allowed in particular areas.

It was just a comment that it would be nice to see the regs out early enough to get an idea of where and when you planned on hunting.  They aren't even out when spring bear season is already under way.

And if the rules dont change.... how hard would it be to change the cover and send it out for print?

The rules could change and often do at the April meeting. Dates don't.

You can download the regs now.Seen them yesterday and found out that scopes are now legal to use on crossbows even during archery season.
It's better to have a gun and not need it than to need one and not have it.                                                                             Local 66 sheetmetal workers

I believe that is  only if you qualify as a disabled hunter.
