Yes that's a good price. I'd pick up a couple at that price. Especially since it's a local purchase so that if there are any problems you can return them easily. I have one Primos 35 that I picked up for $60 a couple years ago. It hasn't let me down yet. Love the fast trigger, they don't miss much. Only downside is you may go through quite a few D batteries. Most if the time I run mine on a 6 volt external battery.
Bushnell Trophy camera or Moultrie M-Series. You can't go wrong there
Don't assume too much intelligence on the part of a bean counter. Please explain this python lock.
get a rechargeable 6v battery and it will be better in the long run.You can get a 6v rechargeable for less than $20
So what do you do with this thing, just duct tape it to the tree above the camera or something?

I use the Stealth Cam battery packs though because I picked up five of them on eBay for $20 each (regular price is $55).

So you set it at the base of the tree, like at ground level and angle it up? Do you get a lot of squirrels and chipmunks?
Bean- if you're going to check your cameras once a month, I don't think you need to worry about battery life too much.
Odd morphology of capitalism were now in when I can post a question to a forum and get more help before I leave the store than I do from the dudes who work there.
Fingering the newd cameras tonight. It says in the instruction booklet to insert a card up to 32 GB but it says on the unit to insert a card up to 8 gb. What gives? I has 2x 16GB cards and an 8 gig on the way in the mail.
