Do folks from Maine get mad about not being able to hunt on Sundays? It seems like an outdated law

Yeah, the no hunting Sundays are stupid. Yes, it's rooted in history and Puritan goodness, blah, blah, blah. Stupid. There are some really dumb laws still on the books in all of the New England states. Many are now ignored. Blue laws address "breeches of morality"

Yea I saw it on that Maine gammie show, wonder if hunters plan to get it off the books. Is there still strong puritan culture there? I was under the impression it is primarily a blur state

I had heard some guys out here speaking a different language.  Turned out they were actually from Maine.  But being from the western part, most of their business and trade and interactions were with Quebec.  So they all ended up primarily speaking French.
