Several states have explicitly outlawed them. Washington needs to do the same.

If we were smart, we'd outlaw drones for wildlife uses and for other "illegal" uses, such as harassing licensed hunters.
"Restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens based on the actions of criminals and madmen will have no positive effect on the future acts of criminals and madmen. It will only serve to reduce individual rights and the very security of our republic." - Pianoman https://linktr.ee/johnlwallace https://valoaneducator.tv/johnwallace-2014743

Well, not quite.

Good catch, Bob.

I shudder to say this, but it might be a good idea to ask your local legislator to introduce a bill for the 2015 Legislature, specifically banning the use of drones for both hunting and harassment of hunters--perhaps word it to prohibit the use of drones during hunting season?....

I expect there'll be a correction in the regs for 2014.

The attempt to define drones as aircraft has already been unsuccessfully challenged by the FAA.

The 2014 regulations will not include any change. Washington needs to do what other states have done, and legislatively and explicitly ban them for hunting and scouting purposes.
