Excellent Hounds for sale
« on: November 24, 2008, 11:48:38 AM »
Hi all,

Been a bit since I have been on the net, with work and everything else. Unfortunately I am going through a divorce and I am selling out everything I own to cover divorce cost.

I bought my dogs from Bill Page in Curlew, WA.

Pebbles: Shes a great strike, rig, road, tree, you name it, she does it all. She was one of Bill's lead dogs on over 100 lion trees. She is a walker/trigg cross. Mel White was kind enough to give me some breeding details on her, see below. Pebbles just went through a heat cycle. Pebbles will be 7 in April

PEBBLES: $1,800.00

Reba: Reba is Redbone/Walker cross. Shes a great back up to Pebbles or any other dog. Great nose, real loud bellow with a deep howl at tree. She strikes, rigs and handles like a dream. She is the easiest of all three dogs to handle. Reba has been fixed since I got her, we bred to her but she did not take and we had to have a hystorectmy (spelling) ($1,600 later). Reba will be 7 in April
REBA: $1,200.00

Sadie Girl: Have yet to register her to me, she is out of Tim Cooks stock. Great nose, she recently found it ) Shes 7 months old and has been on 3 coon trees and she got lost on 1 cat run. Shes needing training and breaking and such but she seems to be very hard driven and she is eager to hunt. She rides the box well so far and has struck with the others off the box. REAL loud bark. She is just starting to learn it, but she runs and keeps at pebbles side most of the time.
$800.00

All dogs have shots, all dogs have vet check ups and all the rest. I sure hate to sell out but thats what it takes, so be it.

I also have a TRX-1000 Box, no charger, comes with antenna. Works great $450.00
Tracking Collars- 2 wildlife used- 75 EA. 217 freq.
Tri-Tronics Trash Breaker 2 dog-Just serviced at collar clinic- $200.00

Here is details on the dogs from Mel:
reba came from a guy named joe perrie. he lives in idaho now i beleive. they had that line of dogs for a long time. they had a little bit of everything in them(plot, rebone mostly) they mainly hunted bear. a guy named hollie fuller got reba as a pup and bought a older top cat dog off me. he hunted them for a few years and then sold them to bill. he bred reba once and i ended up with a pup. i sold her because she drove me nuts around the house and i allready had a pup anyways. the pup was crazy aggresive on game and would just go full boar into a bayed bear but that also got her killed at a 1 1/2 old by a bear. i raised pebbles from a pup also. i still have her litter mate here. she was born 4/15/2002. in my opinion she is out of the best cat breading in WA and OR and that is where some of the best cat dogs in the country come from.. many of the big name dogs have been out of that breeding. i guy i hunted with bought pebbles mom (billy) for around $6000 when she was 7 years old. she was only bred once and thats where pebbles came from. we bred her again 2 years ago but she did not take because of her age.also out of that litter was cheyenne(my dog), dixie (george justice main dog) ring (gary logsdons main dog) and a male named duke that is a unreal cat dog and the guy unfortunely had it fixed as a pup. Billy originally came as a pup from a guy in kentucky named hershal joyner. she is mostley walker with 1/4 trig in her. pebbles dad was a full walker that was a ok cat dog but was bred to three times and all the litters made awesome cat dogs.one of the dogs out of another litter from him is due with pups on sunday. i cant wait. the guy who owned him decided to hunt him on bear and he got killed 2 years ago. theres probally more info than you want but once i start talking about cat dogs i cant quit lol.

I have hunted the dogs a few times, I have owned them since last April and they have been REAT. I sure love them, but with going through the big D, I have to let them go. Must goto a good Houndsman who will care for these fine dogs.

I also have some bear pelts to sell.  2 small ones about 100 pounds and maybe the big bear pictured in the bear section if someone offers a good price.

I have worked my but off to get nice things and lose them in a divorce, such is life.

Oh, 21 foot thunderjet also for sale, take over my payments and its yours.  Can post pictures of everything.
