Kenmore archery range fees

I was a bit surprised when they charged me $15.00 and it seemed higher the other clubs/ranges. I will admit I have not been there for sometime and the place does have a nice flat range and walk through. I got to thinking that's the same price of most 3d shoots per day. Maybe this is a way to get drop ins to signup for a membership. I over heard another guy also commenting and he didn't seem to happy.

Did you shoot the walk through? I shot there three or four weeks ago and lost fletching on two arrows because they went through targets. Definitely not worth it.

I've never done a walk through range. No way in hell I'd pay $15 to walk through one.

It used to be $10. I haven't shot it in a year or so. I'd still shoot it for $15 but mainly because it's the only game in town and it's a nice range.
Also I've shot that range 10112 times, 65# bow and I don't think I've ever shot through one of their bag targets. They've definitely never caused me to lose arrow fletchings.

Yes they're still bags. Problem is a lot of them lost their stuffing and once an arrows goes in it is a pain in the butt to get out.

Agreed...they are a pain in the butt to get arrows out of.

If you can find some field tips with rounded off points, that makes it a lot easier to get them out.

in the past I have had some arrows go to the nock, and yes I agree some of the bags are worn out. I was lucky not to have any fl fletching ripped off

The target are stuffed with plastic grocery bags and half of them are spilling out their stuffing. Their flat range targets are so worn out I can't shoot under 60 without blowing through them and hitting the backstop. Time to take some of the expensive fees and rebuild your facility

I agree, there really is not reason for that.  Although, the lady that owns Ames Targets hasn't been shipping worth a darn.  As I understand it she can't find anyone qualified to run the presses.  So that might have something to do with it.  $15 doesn't seem out of line for an insured quality range to me. I think paint ball ranges are about double that for just a few hours.  But if it's run down I can see why guys would have a problem with it.

I've only shot there during their 3-D shoot in July.  There are two local clubs that shoot 3-D targets during the week.

It went from $10 to $12 to $15 in the past three years.  The archery membership is so steep that you have to shoot many times to reach break even.

For the amount of money they charge for membership and daily public range fees I'd expect their targets to be in much better shape. For their membership fees I can get memberships to both Granite Falls, Mt. Vernon and still have money left to shoot at Nock Point after buying more arrows.

My arrows pass right through their right 30 yard and 60 yard targets on the flat range.

Silver Arrow Bowmen in Mount Vernon is 2 miles off I-5 Exit 224. We have members from Seattle and Mount Lake Terrace! Family membership is $40 a year OR its $2 per person for a FULL days worth of shooting. Flat range that is ALL carpet bails and a 50 target walk through course 3+miles long. We just got done doing some more work improving the trails. At a min you should come check it out... Our 3ds are $10 a day per person. Please shoot our course and tell me how it compares... I have not shot Kenmore... Oh and our range is open 360 days a year, and our outdoor flat range has coin operated shooting lights!
