I've shot my TC .54 Thunderhawk since 1995.  I have always used the Maxihunter bullets in 360 grains.  I have 9 bullets left for this season.  I went to Cabellas, Sportsman Warehouse and other local shops to find more of these bullets but to no avail.  The salesman at Sportsman Warehouse told me he thinks that size has been discontinued.  I have enough for this year but what to do about next season.

Does anyone shoot the .54 TC Thunderhawk out here?  If so, can you give me some advice on what I should use for next season?

Thanks.....

ML.  I shoot a T/C .54....Love the gun by the way.  I switched to .295 Powerbelts with 100 grains of 777 some years ago and have had very good results.  I have seen some people post issues of powerbelts "sailing", but I have never had that issue, I can keep a 2-3" group at 100 yards.  Some opinions may vary about the knockdown power of the .295, but I have never had an issue.  If the shot it true they perform just fine.

Try shooting a few different types- I found that my .54 TC likes Cabela's 300 or 340 grain dead center sabots the best  They are made by Precision, who makes a TON of all lead rounds you can try, with plenty in .54.
