Fly/jig Tying nights/get togethers...
« on: April 10, 2014, 09:03:10 PM »
I changed careers from a fly fishing guide of 10 years to selling real estate about 3 years ago and I am finally getting back to my roots.  A buddy of mine is interested in fly fishing and fly tying so we have been having weekly fly tying nights where we eat brats, have a few drinks and I've been teaching him how to tie flies.

Tonight I was thinking this could be a good opportunity for members of the site to get together and tie flies/jigs/whatever and B.S. for a while. Bring your own materials and BYOB and just relax at the table and share some patterns and BS for the evening. Is this something that anyone out there would be interested in?

I'm in Marysville and would travel a little ways to meet at others homes. I have a big dining room table that can sit 6+, thought it might be fun.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

I live in marysville and might be interested. Never tried tying before but my Dad bought a ton of supplies and a few vices from a garage sale. He just got frustrated with it I think.
