ST. GEORGE — Two men from Washington and Beaver were reported dead Monday after a helicopter crash in a remote part of Emery County.
Robin Venuti, 38, from Washington, and Albert Rubio, 36, from Beaver, reportedly left Green River at about 11 a.m. on Sunday, but were reported missing nine hours later. The pair had set off in search of elk antler sheds, according to the Grand County Sheriff's Office.
Search crews from the Department of Public Safety and the U.S. Department of Agriculture searched Carbon, Grand and Emery counties before finding the wreckage in the Range Creek area.
