Super tough time of year to find gamebirds. Breeders are just now producing (reason for keeping/feeding them all winter) you are more likely to find someone with a frozen one than a live one. You may want to put an ad on craigslist you may get a call from someone who has a super aggressive male that kills or injures another one. Be careful how you word your ad non hunters/greenies are flaggers for anything they disagree with. Just  couple thoughts for you. Does it have to be a pheasant?
