Yelp's 2014 Turkey Camp
« on: April 10, 2014, 10:42:49 AM »
Well guys its been ahwhile and now another turkey season is upon us.  I was able to get out over youth and take a few 12 year old boys out we did ok.  We had some close opportunities.  We managed to get one of the boys a dandy gobbler.  21.5 lbs, 9" beard, 1" spurs.  Great Hunt.  I saw lots of birds henned up still But things will get cranking with the temps we are having.  Good luck out there.  I will try and keep everyone updated as season goes along.
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

  Hope you guys have another "Dale watching over you" kind of season.  Was toying with the idea of showing up, but new motorhome has me too busy getting it ready to use.

Glad to see this thread. I will be honest and say I was disappointed not to see it last weekend  :dunno:. So glad it is back and way to go on the bird for the boys . Only the first of MANY this season I am sure. Thanks for sharing your season with us. Good luck to all who spend time on your camp.
