Kershaw makes a pretty good light weight pack saw. It's like a Wyoming pack saw but folds and stores within its self comes with 2 blades. I have both but take this Kershaw on pack in hunts.

The Wyoming is a good saw. You can use the smaller versions blades by taking sections out of the frame if you want. I only use the full size blade both for bone or wood.  I learned the hard way if you break it down for packing make sure to tighten the wing nut so you don't lose it. I carry a spare in my pack now.  It made quartering an elk a little tough by having to tie and twist parachute cord to hold the blade, but it worked

How much lighter is the Kershaw than the folding Gerber bone/wood saw? I have a Wyoming saw but always carry the Gerber due to its light weight. Its not very good for logs, but neither is my small Wyoming saw.

Looking for ideas on a good bow saw , packable. I rather have a saw that works good over having one that's super light. Looking for a saw to cut up wood for camp. Thanks for any input.

Wyo saw will never fail you but has weight.

Not that particular product, but I've used a very similar product a lot. They require time and a strong back to get through anything big (4 inches) or more. They aren't too bad for small stuff, but expect sore back and arms. This is more of the emergency saw that you hope to never have to use rather than a saw you like to use every day.

I carry a Wyoming saw
