Looks like a killer deal to me. Ive been wanting to pick up one of these oregons. Thanks for the post. Id do it if I were you. Im not sure there are many other GOOD competitors for that price. Personally I think the oregons are top dog right there with the new 600 series rinos.

If all you want is gps and a camera go for it.
If you want communication also step up to a Rhino.

Thinking it over, I'm going to use a large, printed unit map for my elk hunt this fall. I think I only need a GPS as a backup for finding my way back to my truck. And marking where the elk goes down if I have to make  few trips (likely the case). I can probably just get an app for my black eye phone that will let me mark a way point and then hone my way back when I start the phone up again at the end of the day.

Cant go wrong with an old fashioned paper and compass.

He can have one of these for cheaper . Everything a hunter needs.
I have two 110s that have served me well for over five years.

Nothing but problems with them, cant even keep the things on. If they get bumped or anything they shut off. Hella irritating, Id rather take nothing then use them half the time.
Plus you cant even use the Hunting GPS maps on it.
