MONTANA 08
« on: November 23, 2008, 08:22:01 PM »
I'll start by saying hi , been a member for over a year on here ,read it daily just not a big in to posting.  Well right place-right time posted most of are hunting story , just thought I would add a little and pics of my deer since I left camp a little early. We hunted the first  day hard after a 17 hour drive I was ready for bed that night.  The next morning is when rightplace- righttime shot his deer , I was happy for him it was his best mule deer.  That night I was hunting with his dad and we spotted a nice 4 point but just couldn't close the deal.  We put one more deer in camp the next morning  a 2x3.  On the 4th  morning of hunting ,my buddy Tom shot a nice 4 point we was so excited it was very cool being there. I caped his deer out put it in my pack and we drug that deer for about 2 hours we were tired when we made it back to camp.                                                                                                                         After  we made it back to camp is when we packed up our stuff  ,Tom and I that is . I wanted to  go hunt with my brother and little nephew who were hunting about an hour and half away.   On our way to hunt with my brother is when we spotted my deer with about 8 does  so we parked the truck and started hunting. I took a while to find the deer , we spotted him with about ten minutes left in hunting light, I took one shot at 150 yards and that was it he was down.  I have been hunting since I have been 13 years old and this was   my best deer ever, only my second mule deer. The trip was very fun and camp was a blast just like to thank all my hunting parterns for a great trip.  Sorry for the bloody field pics we forgot the camera and I made Tom go back and get the camera, which took  about  a half hour , It was getting dark so I went and gutted it before he got back.
