No turkey hunting for BH45 this spring !
« on: May 23, 2014, 08:07:18 PM »
I have been so busy that I can not make any plan come together this spring for a turkey hunt  :bash: :bash: I had plans to go back to PA on the 15 th of May but it turns out I can not get freed up .. I was supposed to fly back and go turkey hunting with my brother - Father and my 2 crazy uncles up in Northern PA .. This is big country with very little roads ..We had a hunting cabin up there named Blue Bell .. My uncle ended up moving up there after his wife passed .. So any way on May 16th they call me to tell me that my brother shot my turkey  :'( :'( :bash: :dunno:  They send me these pictures to make me feel bad .. and I sure do ! my dad is in his 70s now and had some health issues this year ..But I have faith in my old man ..tougher than hell ..2 tours in Nam and a few other instances where he should have been gone way before now ...I sure miss these guys ...lots of memories hunting as a kid ..Anyway here is a few pictures since I will not be posting any dead turks this year ..

Looks like fun times! Don't feel too bad, your not the only one. I didn't make it out either. Salmon, shrimp and halibut got in the way. Just couldn't quit fishing to make time for turkeys. It'll just make you enjoy next season that much more!
Fish hard, hunt harder!
