2014 Skagit Valley Chapter Mule Deer Foundation Banquet
« on: March 09, 2014, 01:49:50 PM »
The 2014 banquet will be held at the Cotton Tree Inn, in Mount Vernon on April 19th.
Social Hour and the silent auction will begin at 4:30 followed by the buffet dinner at 6:30. The live auction begins at 7:30.

It would be great to get a Hunting-Washington table together.

The dinner and membership (or renewal) is $75, or $115 per couple.  If you are a life member or have a current membership, its $40 for the dinner.

They are doing a raffle drawing. 200 tickets will be sold at $10. The drawing is for a Weatherby Vanguard 300 win mag. Winner will be drawn at the banquet.

The Ellensburg banquet is March 29. It's the first one for a new chapter. I saw them clearing barbed wire in the Taneum a few weeks ago. It looks like good people doing good work already. I'm going.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

My wife and I last year.

My Dad and I are both life members. I am looking forward to the dinner. Always good food.

It was a great event once again, I'm a little concerned about the leadership going forward though.  :dunno:
