6 seconds
« on: April 16, 2014, 02:22:21 PM »
The regulations said shooting time was at 5:30 so I left my house at 2:30 knowing it was going to take a couple hours to drive and  about a hour hike into the spot I wanted to be. As I was on my way to my spot before I could even get there I heard a gobble no more than 50 yards from me. This changed my plans entirely. I found a place set up my camera and wait til light. Well shooting time came and went and it was way to dark to be shooting light in my opinion pretty sure they screwed up on that... Well This is what Happened.

I am not a professional camera man nor hunter. I am not sure about you but I have been in situations where you think you have time and then everything unravels. Well I was not going to let that happen.
Before anyone tries to say it was to early, I assure you It was after 6:15 and before 6:20.

Nice video and great hunt! I know too well how quickly things can unravel... especially when turkey hunting.  Way to get it done.

Nice!  Way to keep the game plan flexible
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Looks like the auto metering on your camera metered on the sky, this is why it appears darker in the video than what your eyes pick up. Nice bird.
