How many hunters did you see?
« on: April 17, 2014, 01:37:51 PM »
Went out opening day flying up 395 1.5 hour before shooting time and had the highway to myself.  No camo at the gas station either.  No one on the public spot where I was and only saw two other hunters on private land.  2nd day saw some camo at the station but no other hunters in the field.  Heard a shot or two over the 2 days.  Just surprised how dead it was but the hunting not the best either.  Buddy called in 2 jakes for a double with no toms wanting to work.  So still looking for that 1st spring tom.
Don't read my post if facts hurt your feeling.

My brother & me were at our private honey hole near Mt. Spokane and the only shot heard was from my gun.
Saw a little camo driving in the area, but pretty darn quiet for an opener.

They must have all come over to Hunters/ Gifford area. Tons of hunters in the campgrounds and tons of road hunters.
Thanks for all for your past support...We officially pulled the plug and have retired from the Biz. Still dabble a little in real estate.
