I've seen several dozen in the past few days. Unfortunately, they're all within city limits, not huntable...lol

I just about ran over a dozen hens in the road this weekend in West Spokane. I came around a sharp corner and as usual they were in no hurry to move

They know where they're safe lol. I see them on SFCC campus all the time, as well as on the archery club range property, which happens to be city property.

Nice pics! I've noticed that there are more toms this year, or are they just in bachelor groups still. Out in Colville I noticed 3 groups of 5-8 Jakes and young toms strolling around, no hens. In 3 days I only saw 2 hens.
