Jump Buck
« on: November 24, 2008, 08:27:04 PM »
Made a trip down to the refuge today.  Took about 80 pictures in raw, still don't know how to do anything with them so I just converted them to jpg so I could post them.  I've always liked animals jumping over fences whether it be deer, elk , or what ever.  It was real foggy down there today with a little frost on the brush.  I got  these pictures of 4 different bucks jumping over fences.  Thought you would like to see them for a change of pace.  Thanks for looking.

These pics. are taken in south eastern Oregon.  I live in Burns and I take pictures in the Malhuer Refuge and central and eastern Oregon.  Thanks for all the kind words.  If you guys keep liking them, I'll keep posting them.

Great timing to get great pictures!!!  Did you shoot a continuous series to get them right at the jump?  Are you shooting Canon?  If so, I could offer my RAW conversion methods.

I'm shooting a Nikon D300, I've talked with shawn and he is going to help me get started with the raw files.  Thanks for the offer.  As far as the shots go, I shoot a single frame at a time.  Just got a fast finger.
