Still makes me physically ill to think about it one year later.  This site just isn't the same without him.

I still shed a tear every time I hear a Chopper; today at work we had a UH-1 working Renton Field. It reminds me of all the buddies lost in Viet Nam and our Captain.  :salute:

RIP, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family on what I am sure is one of many difficult days for them. He was a great guy and will be missed.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I can't believe he has been gone a year already.
I never had a chance to meet Aaron face to face. I loved his passion that he brought into every conversation.
Just look at the impact his presence here has had before and after his passing.
He left a legacy,
What more can a man ask for?
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
Psalm 144.1

I also thought about this yesterday and reflected on my feelings. Although I never met Aaron, you feel like you know people when you read  and interact with them about things they are passionate about. My son and I visit Aaron's resting place in Medical lake veterans cemetery often, we pray for the family he left behind.

Great man.  Miss him.  Still brings tears.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
