welcome, I agree there is nothing like bowhunting elk in the rut!! the only thing I would have done different if I were you is I wouldn't have sold the rifle. keep your guns ;)

You are going to love the experience of bow hunting.  I started 3 years ago for Deel and will never go back.  Instead of seeing 10 people per hour, like on the modern.  I may see 10 people per week, if I'm lucky.  I got my first one with a bow this year and there is nothing like it.  keep us posted on how you do next year.

i still have lots of guns so ill never run out but i love shootin bow, but i know ill never buy a boy from cabelas. i took my bow to a shop that ive been going to for weeks now and 60 bucks later i was back to shootin cabelas didnt set it up right were u knock the arrow it was 1/4 inch of from my rest and the rest was 1/4 to the left so it shoot high and to right and they put the wrong peep and release string the knot was back wards so it could of came and smack my face. but other than that its all good and ill keep every one up to date oh by the way cabelas said ok thanks for the info

indeed, bowhunting is like nothing else!@!! you will never go back, and always go to a  acredited pro shop, never let a big place IE cabelas, sportsmens set up your bow   :bdid:  welcome to the family and good luck!!

bad idea on goning there to cabelas and they did nothin thats the worst of it will keep that in mind they said >:(
