I've never hunted wenas before, but I want to try something new this year, is it just about the same in the wenas as it is in oak creek? Who will be up there, I'm getting excited!  :)

Good luck.  Last time I went in there a couple years ago, a few unethical people had already been in there before the opener and stockpiled the antlers.  They went in like everybody else on the opener.  But, only two or three guys left with a pickup bed full of bone.  I'm not talking about a few.  They had over 50 sheds in one truck.  Everyone else in there had maybe one or two, if they were lucky.  Even the guys on horesback weren't finding any.

I wouldn't bother at wenas. I know of 4 people that have been in there every weekend since mid March and have cleaned house. One of them said don't bother there's nothing left  :bash:

Yeah man I honestly think you'll haveva better chance at oak creek. The wenas has already been picked over unfortunately. Sad that a few people can't play by the rules.

.     The guys I know are far from what I would call friends . Theres a big difference in knowing somebody and being friends with them.

What kind of violations would they get does anyone know? It's basically like poaching as far as I'm concerned, just like hunting an area out of season.
