Are you running out of memory?  I'd replace the card and save tracks to the SD card... I put a 16GB in mine.

Pull out the manual and read about the settings pages.... you'll be able to see what is consuming all the space.  I don't have a huntingGPS map chip in mine so I can't help there.

The 62s stores a maximum of 10,000 trackpoints. Download the tracks you want to a PC before they start getting overwritten.

Well that sucks I thought they would always stay on there. Guess i'll just let them go away. Do they disappear from oldest to newest?

The 62s has an internal memory of 1.6gb.
So unless you have allot of tracks, I doubt that is your problem.
Are you saving the track before you turn the unit off?
Are overwiting the previous track?

On mine I also have a 8gb microsd card and save the track to the card.

Download "Basecamp" from Garmin, after each hunt/hike upload your tracks. You can also reverse that and set way points in "Basecamp" then download them to you 62s.
It is great for new areas.

That would require unlimited memory. Do the math: a trackpoint every 10 seconds is 6 a minute and 360 an hour. The 10,000 trackpoint limit would be reached in 27 hours.

If you are using a Hunt GPS chip you cannot write to it.
