Vortex PST 4-16x50
« on: May 04, 2014, 10:46:06 AM »
First Vortex purchase. Just received this scope the other day and already having issues. After carefully mounting and leveling, to include bubble level install, I installed the supplied battery for the illuminated reticle.  It appeared to work properly at first, but then after a few times of adjusting the brightness it just stopped working.  I tried replacing the battery. No luck.  I called Vortex, they offered to send me a new cap prior to removing the scope and sending it back.   FINGERS ARE CROSSED   Plus I have another 6-24x50 PST on back order.

Vortex is supposed to have one of the best warranties in the business.  I haven't had to use it yet, but my 6-24 PST is pretty new.  I hope they stand by your purchase as well as I've heard them stand by others!

I know they are great about their warranty.  I just hope this is the one and only time I might need to take it off the rifle.  I will now question this product until it proves itself.

HIGUNNER.

Keep me posted on their CS and what the issue is.  I am just about ready to order a Viper HS and I'm curious to hear about your experience .

Thanks

If the new cap doesn't resolve your problem, let them know and they will send you a shipping label and get you fixed up. Also, their warranty service when you send it in doesn't usually take more than 10 days door to door from my experience.
