Bowtech RPM 360 any opinions?
« on: May 04, 2014, 01:29:45 PM »
I have been looking at new bows and decided I want to get a bowtech rpm 360 70#.  Anyone own this bow?  Any opinions on it?  Thanks for any input.

It is fast. But I didn't care for the feel, fit or finish on it. It feels like a speed bow when shooting it and all those dampeners look gimmicky to me  :twocents:

Just picked one up.   Love it. I shot all the new bowtech bows before the purchase.  In my opinion the draw is just as smooth as the experience.  I have heard complaints about a hump in the draw with DL's over 29".  I have a 27" draw and it is smooth all the way through the curve with a solid back wall.

Go on archery talk and read posts from actual owners.  Very few bad reviews from owners. There is a lot of bowtech haters on there but none of them own an RPM.

Oh I already ordered it.  Should be in by the end of the month.  My shorter draw is what made me choose this bow.  I've read a ton of post about it some good some bad.  I have an 07 bowtech tribute and love it.  Super durable.  Kind of heavy but not to bad.  Its the only real compound I've ever shot.  So this new rig is gonna be a huge step up.  I'm not a bowtech fanatic but I figured I'd go with what I know.  Are there any other bows that compare in kenetic energy or fps?

the carbon overdrive holds better speeds at the shorter draw lengths ....pse PSE make fast bows ...my PSE is getting 296 with a 420 gr arrow at 28" draw 58lbs....the rpm same set up was 10 fps slower...RPM is a nice shooting bow

You tube has a 72 lb rpm shooting 409 grains.  At 333 fps I forget his draw think 28 1/2.

Haven't shot it but man those cams are crazy big.

Just picked it up from XXX.  This bow is smooth and fast.  It's set to almost 72 # and I was just getting arrows to group at 90 meters.  Very accurate for how many arrows I have run through it and considering how for the last few years my bow was only 60#.  The arrows xxx archery suggested fly very nice and penetrate deep even at long range.  I can't wait to kill a bull with this thing.

Congratulations, what arrows did you go with?  What other add ons also, rest, sight, stab and quiver?

Hoggfather single pin trophy ridge revolution 2 and black eagle rampage with 75 grain inserts.  I don't want the hoggfather after seeing the other single pins.  Just not practical to hunt with.
