I set the timer on the feeders to open the barrel at 7 in the morning a close at 7 at night you can set the timer for any time you want   you train the bears to eat on your time not when want...

I did not realize you had this set to open and shut at a certain time..   That is awesome and would be huge advantage over my always open bait...

That reminds me of the bird feeders that are close to the ground so they become bird/cat feeders.

I was lucky enough to hunt over their feeder lid a few years ago to get my first bear. They told me basically exactly what to expect. Sitting around looking through all sorts of trail camera pictures, I figured that we would have a pretty good chance to get a bear. Once we set up on the bait, I was told to take which ever bear I wanted to kill. Turns out I liked the first bear to come in, and was able to shoot it from a tree stand as it was getting ready to dig in. The only problem is that the entire hunt took all but 5 minutes! Lots of fun for sure.
Could you ship one of these to a buddy in Alaska?
